Oil Paintings

It was at the Academy of Fine Arts in Braine-l'Alleud and then in the studio of the great painter Linou Truffino that I learned to paint in oil according to the methods of the old masters: glazes, pigments, light and shade, working with emptiness.

Linou taught me how to work with transparencies, blends, and the depth of tones, which are essential for my paintings of childhood, music, life in all its fragility.

There's always something left over from childhood, always...
